.Head of People @VORTAL Connecting Business | Byggfakta GroupSenior People Management SpecialistVORTAL is a leading e-Sourcing and e-Procurement solutions provider connecting thousands of public and private buyers with an international community of qualified suppliers worldwide.VORTAL has offices in Lisbon, Madrid, Vigo and Málaga.We have welcomed to VORTAL two companies in Spain: Construdata21, the leading provider of construction project information data in Spain and Portugal and Nexus IT, the leading provider of pre-award and eTendering solutions for the public sector in Spain.Job DescriptionIn the past few years VORTAL has grown a lot in Spain, counting with more than 120 employees in this territory, some belonging to VORTAL and some to the group company Nexus IT, which has offices in Madrid and to Construdata21 with offices in Vigo.In this position you would be reporting to the Head of People, based in Lisbon, integrated in a team responsible for the entire employee life cycle - responsible for all practices and policies related to HR Management from recruitment, integration, performance management, career development, among many others!We are looking to reinforce our team in Madrid, with a senior profile, to overview the activities of the Spanish entities, with special focus on recruitment and engagement initiatives.The ideal candidate is a natural communicator, fast learner, thinks strategically and is also extremely organized and detail-oriented! Our companies are in different stages of maturity when it comes to HR practices so being able to adapt to the rhythm and needs of each of them is key.ResponsibilitiesManage the recruitment pipeline, from needs assessments, to triage and active search, interviews or technical assessment and proposal's presentation according to budget/project needs.Work on protocols with universities/technical schools to position the companies and attract students/recent graduates.Point of contact for employees in Spain: doubts, requests and other enquiries.Support strategic initiatives, including but not limited to, performance management system, rewards & compensation, engagement initiatives.Support/back up on administrative activities like contracts management, legal requests, in-office activities.EducationBachelor / Master in Management, Human Resource Management or Labour Law; Skills & KnowledgeRecruitment cycle in IT: profiles, active search and candidates management; Fluent in Spanish (written and spoken) mandatory; Advanced English skills (written and spoken) mandatory; High level of rigor and responsibility; Tenacity, proactive attitude and creative thinking
