Senior Software Developer For R&D Power Transformers

Description Join Hitachi Energy and be part of Hitachi Energy Technology team within business line Transformers. Business line transformers manufactures transformers, reactors and transformer components, including bushing, tap changers and insulation materials. We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join the R&D team in Technology Center Córdoba. He/She will be responsible for the development of design software to be applied in transformers design, supporting diagnostics in the energy industry products, knowing very well good practices in the field of software development and able to apply them effectively. The candidate shall place great emphasis on quality and attention to details, which are visible in the results of their work, having a solid technical foundation and experience allowing them to predict the long-term effects of their decisions regarding the project.
Open people who can present new ideas in an understandable way, cooperate in a team and implement solutions, and communicate in English will fit perfectly into the team.
Your responsibilities: Support project backlog management
Delivery according to sprint planning and master plan
Requirements gathering and analysis
Definition of acceptance criteria and test cases
Software architecture compliance
Code quality and security assurance
Technical debt management
Solution testing and bug fixing
Effective communication with team members and project stakeholders
Handling related documentation
Introducing improvements

Your background: Software engineering / Computer science/Mathematics degree(s). A Master in AI will be well valued.
C# .NET (Core) knowledge.
TDD knowledge NUint, xUnit or MSTest frameworks.
Frontend development: MVVM pattern.
Frontend development: WPF/MAUI/BLAZOR.
Mathematical/Optimization .NET libraries: ALGLIB/Extreme Numerics/Accord.Math (valuable)
Azure DevOps (AZ-400 certification valuable)
Self-driven, result-oriented, motivated, and autonomous
Experience on industrial environment
Attention to details, focus on quality
Project management experience
Team working attitude, teaching and mentoring colleagues
Good presentation and communication skills
Fluent in English and Spanish
