Safety, environment, and wellbeing are our foundation, and we never compromise them.We are looking for a Senior Workshop Engineer at Authorized Workshopwith the main responsibility in granting Service Partner technical support, by making sure that Wärtsilä standards are respected in terms of Quality and Delivery and becoming the reference contact for the Partner.Moreover, whenever necessary, the person will also be the reference contact for Wärtsilä network in the workshop for both technical and order management topics.The location for this position is the Workshop at Zamakona (Napesca) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain.Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Senior Workshop Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities :AccountabilitiesSupport the Partner to grant On-Time-In-Full scope delivery and, so, Customer satisfaction.Support Partner in-process quality control.Handle technical information to Partner and affiliates, according Wartsila IP protection directives.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and support directly the execution of Partner's workshop activities according to technical specifications and instructions.Run troubleshooting and support RCA process for relevant tasks and jobs, towards continuous improvement.Prepare and monitor the quality and consistency of Service Work Reports and Measurement Records, issued by Partner, making sure they are aligned to Wärtsilä's guidelines and standards.Actively support Wärtsilä to plan and procure needed tools and / or assets.Monitor Partner's execution of maintenance and control plans on Wärtsilä properties at site, becoming the reference contact for the Partner and, whenever necessary, for Wärtsilä network.Support the Partner to draw the plans and to maintain proper competence level of own personnel
