Position: Technical Application Specialist - Sevilla 1. Primary Objective of Position The Application Specialist is responsible for delivery of customer operator training and coaching in Abbott training facilities and onsite and providing on-site assay implementation, application support, and application troubleshooting on Abbott Systems.
2. Major Accountabilities - Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
- Deliver customer operator training in Abbott facilities or on-site.
- Perform new instrument and assay implementations through Test Of Record (TOR).
- Perform on-site assay investigation, troubleshooting, and operator training and coaching.
- Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators achievement, and resolution rates.
- Travel extensively within the service area.
3.Education -Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical / electrical / mechanical or medical technology is preferred.
4.Background Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
Successful engagement with customers, specifically lab staff.
Strong communication, coaching and training skills.
Technical expert for product line responsibility.
Strong experience in use of analytical and software tools.
Good English and computer skills.
