You'll lead a team of skilled cybersecurity professionals, ensuring proactive threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of our security posture. Your strategic vision and operational expertise will be instrumental in maintaining a robust cyber defense capability.Duties and responsibilitiesLeadership and Strategy:Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.Collaborate with the Global CISO and other senior leaders to define the vision for the Cyber Defense Center.Establish and communicate clear goals, performance metrics, and KPIs for the team.Security Operations:Oversee 24/7 security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence activities.Manage security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact.Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to enhance incident response capabilities.Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management:Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.Implement threat intelligence feeds and collaborate with threat hunters.Drive vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts across the organization.Coordinate with the Crisis lead and IT teams during security incidents.Prepare and execute incident response plans, including communication strategies.Conduct post-incident reviews to identify areas for improvement.Team Management:Lead and mentor an international diverse team of cybersecurity professionals.Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide career development opportunities.Budget and Resource Management:Develop and manage the Cyber Defense Center budget.Optimize resource allocation to achieve maximum effectiveness.Collaborate with procurement for vendor selection and contract negotiations.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).Experience:Minimum of 10 years in cybersecurity, including leadership roles.Proven track record in managing security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence.Experience in the healthcare or medical technology industry is advantageous.Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications
