The ABAP Developer will be required to program the client's programming requirements based on the provided specifications, and to provide system support/ technical knowledge to the project team throughout the project cycle.RESPONSIBILITIESCreate technical specifications of programs/ interfaces based on functional specifications provided.Implement the client's requirements using technologies such as ABAP/4, SAP Script, etc according to the design documentation and template guidelines utilizing/ creating reusable code that is easily upgradeable/ maintainable.Ensure that the programs/ interfaces are Unit Tested including created sufficient test data (such as employee master records) to complete scenario testing.Support clients through the User Acceptance, Parallel Testing and Go-Live phases.Upgrade programs to be compatible with new releases of R/3 (such as Enterprise/ mySAP ERP)REQUIREMENTSExperience and QualificationsExperience with ABAP development of min 2 yearsExperience with developing, configuring and using API'sTwo or more years of experience with PCC, Fiori configuration and WebserviceWorking knowledge of XMLBachelor or Master's degree with a Technical emphasis, or equivalentPersonal SkillsExcellent English communication skills both written and spokenDemonstrate aptitude and willingness to learnEnthusiastic individual with a passion for people, business and communicationHighly motivated and eager to work with new technologiesMust be self-starter and proactiveGood interpersonal skills with ability to work under pressureFlexible WorkingSo that you can be your best at work and home, we'll consider flexible working arrangements according to business requirements.By applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Alight's employment policies.
