We are a socially responsiblepany and give our customers the ability to invest a portion of their premiums in environmentally and socially beneficial projects.With ourprehensive product offering and underwriting expertise, we are able to cover a wide range of business risks, helping our clients to identify them and minimise their exposure.ACCOUNTANTThe context and the opportunityWe're seeking for an Accountant to be part of this exciting expansion and contribute to the ongoing success of QBE.Your new role- Participate in periodical internal meetings, as required, in order to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice within your area of performance.- Manage the development of solutions to change requirements placed on the Finance function to ensure the successful delivery of objectives.- ply with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met.- Contribute and manage the refinement of process, procedures and systems to continuously improve the efficiency of accounting activities.- Provide high level advice, guidance and information on financial matters to support decision making and improve understanding on financial management.- Manage the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records to meet business needs.- Manage the production of accurate financial returns required by internal and external bodies and regulators to meet reporting deadlines.About youPreferredpetencies :- Strong proficiency in tax return preparation and submission.- Knowledge of relevant current statutory, legal and regulatory accounting requirements. Understanding of best practice accounting.- Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.- Ability to nurture and manage professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.- Proficient in utilizing Excel to streamline work processes and manage data effectively.Preferred Knowledge :Fluent Englishmunication skills (oral and written)Why QBE?
