We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant & Office Manager to oversee the administrative and financial activities of our branch in Barcelona. As Accountant & Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our team in achieving their goals .
Responsibilities 1. Administrative Management Oversee day-to-day office operations, including reception, facilities management, and office supplies. Coordinate and manage office space, ensuring a comfortable and efficient working environment. Implement and improve office policies and procedures to enhance overall efficiency. Handle general administrative tasks and provide administrative support to team members when needed. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and agreements. Manage all accounting transactions. Publish financial statements in time. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Ensure timely bank payments. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Report on the company's financial health and liquidity. Audit financial transactions and documents. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary. Comply with financial policies and regulations. Collaborate with the finance team to oversee budgeting and financial planning for the Barcelona branch. Prepare and manage financial reports, expense tracking, and budget analysis. Process invoices, expenses, and reimbursements accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with payroll administration and employee expense reports. 3. Communication and Coordination Act as a liaison between the Barcelona branch and the headquarters in Italy. Ensure effective communication within the branch and across departments. Collaborate with other departments to support project management and reporting. 4. Compliance and Legal Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Maintain proper documentation and records as required by law. Requirements Diploma in Accounting and Finance or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Business Management/Economics or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as Accountant or a similar role. Knowledge of Spanish accounting regulations. Experience with general ledger functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software. Advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment. Proficient in both Spanish and English, as the role requires regular communication with our international team. Knowledge of Italian is a plus but not a requirement. What's In It For You?
