col-wideJob Description:A diversified multinational agriculture conglomerate has recently established an office in Spain for its commodities vertical. As a result, the company is growing quickly and is looking for an accounting and treasury analyst. This is a full-time role based in Madrid and will support and report directly to the country controller and financial manager of vertical in question. The role will closely work with the country controller within the first 3-6 months and is then be expected to be more independent.**Tasks and Responsabilities**- Responsible to report taxes and make sure fiscal deadlines are mee ton a monthly and quarterly basis.- Reviewing and posting invoices as well as analysing and accruing for SG&A expenses.- Understanding the business and supporting the financial manager with weekly treasury cashflow forecasts. Executing, allocating and posting payments.- Controlling account receivables and following up with counterparties in question to make sure payment is made on time. Weekly credit risk analysis required.- Bank reconciliations.- Support financial team with month end closings. Analysing intercompany, gross margin, and SGA entries as well as helping with the balance sheet review.**Required Skills**:- Educated to degree level in Business Administration, Finance, or any other related field.- At least 1-2 years' experience in Accounting, Treasury, Audit or Finance.- Previous experience at either multinational corporations or big four firms will be highly valued.- Fluent in English and Spanish will be required.- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is mandatory.- Able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail are assets.- Active listening, empathy and high communication skills are key to understand the business and chase clients for due payments.- Proactivity and analytical profile are highly valued skills for continuing growing within the company.**What we offer**- Developing your career within a multinational accounting and financial environment.- Permanent contract with competitive salary.Tipo de puesto: Jornada completa, Contrato indefinidoHorario:- Turno de 8 horas
