The purpose of the Lilly Value, Evidence, and Outcomes (VEO) team is to accelerate equitable patient access and transform healthcare delivery through the execution and communication of bold, high impact science. We are looking for talented, energetic, creative, diverse, influential, and collaborative team members to join the VEO function and Team Lilly.TheVEO-International HTAscientist will provide strategic insight/leadership into the HTA needs for Lilly'sdiabetes & obesity portfolio. Thescientistwill use theirknowledge of health outcomes disciplines, therapeutic area knowledge ofdiabetes, understanding of drug development and commercialization, and geographic market knowledge in the role. Project ownership and executionisrequired. The scientistmay have duties ranging from developing and articulating product value propositions, health outcomes research strategy, evaluation of clinical, economic and /or patient reported outcomes methodologies, real world evidence generationand differentiation strategies using HEOR research.Primary Responsibilities:Strategy Drives sustained integration of HTA from early clinical development through commercialization depending on focus of role.Develops and overseesHTA strategy for compounds in the Lilly portfolio in the relevant therapeutic area(s).Serves as a strategic partner on lead/core teams throughout development and/or commercializationFormulates and drives HTA deliverables, for priority products and geographies. Project Development and ExecutionDevelops bold high impact science for products across the lifecycle, to influence and support reimbursement and access needs for Lilly products in support of improving patient outcomes.Applies technical expertise appropriate for the role (e.g., with depth in systematic review and network meta-analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis and other value assessments) within a therapeutic area.Applies disease state knowledge and research methods to generate HTA deliverables for registration, pricing, reimbursement, accessand other external stakeholders such as health care practitioners. Organizational Leadership and InfluenceLinks technical expertise with business acumenand establishes and maintains strategic relationships with key internal and external decision makers.Effectively leads HEOR evidence planning and implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams across the development and commercialization lifecycle teams. Effectively integrates with and influences key business partners and external stakeholders to achieve goals and outcomesInformation Dissemination Effectively communicates HEOR evidence to internal business partners, the scientific community, and customers.Drives dissemination strategies and leads research communication efforts includingabstracts, posters, podium presentations, promotional materials,and manuscripts.Plan for, align, and drive application of results/ deliverables to increase the impact of HEOR evidence.Environmental Awareness Maintains awareness of significant developments in disease states in the Lilly portfolio and HEORfield including current access and reimbursement policies, methodologies and applications and other issues as appropriate for the position.Anticipates and evaluates future market needs and trends for HEOR information within pertinent therapeutic area and geography of interest.Monitors and influences internal and external environmental factors that shape and impact generation and use of HEOR evidence.Project Management Ensures HTAprojectsmeet timelines, budget, quality, and scope by coordinating research efforts with cross-functionalLilly business partners and external collaboratorsas appropriate.Minimum Qualification Requirements:Doctorate (PhD, MD)OR PharmD/MS degree withsignificant experience in creating, executing, and delivering outcomesstrategies/projects.Proven track record in leading HEORevidence supporting pricing, reimbursement and access activities for successfully launched products.Substantial experience in designing innovative and/or applying advanced methods for HEOR evidence.Strong comprehension and communication skills including the ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information in a clear and concise mannerExcellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate within and across teamsAdditional Preferences/Information:Understanding of health care systems in at least one ofEuropeand/or AsiaUnderstanding of and experience with health care deliverymodels and clinical researchTechnical and analytic capabilities in the followingareas:health outcomes research, health economics, patient focused outcomes, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, health care policyDemonstrated ability to drive research agendas to completion and disseminationAbilityto think and act globally with a customer focus and a solution orientationCreative thinking and ability to lead the generation of innovative approaches to real world evidenceAble to work within the demands of dynamic environment.Additional Information:Location is flexible in desired geography (Europe)Domestic and international travel may be necessary.Lilly does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.#WeAreLilly
