B2Space is an innovative and dynamic aerospace company leading the change in technological advancements within the space industry.Our mission is to deliver reliable, flexible, and cost-effective access to Low Earth Orbit for small and micro satellites, making space more accessible for everyone.Responsibilities :Develop and oversee the design of aerospace structures, including spacecraft components, launch vehicles, payload fairings, and other related structures.This involves creating detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD drawings.Perform structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to assess stress, strain, and deflection of aerostructure components.Select and specify materials for aerostructures, ensuring strength, durability, and cost-effectiveness.Collaborate with other engineers on the design and integration of aerospace systems.Participate in the development of manufacturing and construction processes for launch platforms.Stay up to date on the latest advancements in launch platform technology and materials. Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation.Work Authorisation :This job posting is for a locally hired position in Spain. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering within the aerospace industry.Proven experience with FEA software, such as SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS or Abaqus.Strong understanding of structural mechanics, materials science, and blast load analysis.
