Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.About the roleWe currently have an opportunity for an experienced Assistant Banquets & IRD Manager to join our pre-opening team ! Reporting into the Banqueting & IRD Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Banquets & In Room Dining department operation with passion and creativity; ensuring exceptional service and attention to our guests.What you will doResponsibilities will include selection, talent management and development of our Banqueting & IRD team, working closely with the Food and Beverage leadership team in designing the menus and wine lists, controlling costs through effective scheduling, inventory control and cost control measures, observing and making recommendations for improvement of facilities and equipment where required, being visible in the operation, providing recognition, promoting good public relations and taking care of special requests, and coordinating set up requirements for hotel and off-site functions with dedication to providing an attentive and distinctive experience for our guests.What you bringOur ideal Assistant Banquets & IRD Manager candidate will have a special talent and passion for ensuring you and your team deliver the highest of standards consistently and ensuring exceptional service and attention to our guests.
