Key Responsibilities: Supports key programmatic elements across internal J&J; vivarium in accordance with global harmonized standards, assuring that the care and welfare of laboratory animals is provided in accordance with internal and external standards & regulations. Oversight of key global vivarium operations and management activities, systems, and processes, which may include colony management, resource management solution, space and footprint optimization and allocation. Strategic execution of global staffing models to ensure effective staffing solutions, including managing effective client/ provider relationships. Internal sourcing (staffing and animal procurement) governance and procurement lead, responsible for key performance indicators, contracting execution and updates,vendor relationships,spend monitoring, timely and accurate reconciliation of invoicing. End-to-end business processes and oversight associated with the acquisition, management and close out of capital assets. Establish operational strategies and change management approaches. Support operational excellence by collecting metrics, operational, vendor trends and procurement trends supporting the interpretation, refinement and implementation of operational best practices. Conducts business process reviews with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiencies, and global harmonization and lean or agile principles. Participates on various local and global committees to represent the department, or the company, to internal and external partners.
