.Associate Solutions Architect, Partner Sales Would you like to help some of the best known Systems Integrators (SI) & technology partners in the world utilize cloud computing technologies? Do you want to be part of the customer success team helping to establish Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the leading cloud computing platform? As a Partner Sales Solution Architect focused on G/SI and Independent Software Vendors (ISV's) within (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help accelerate and deliver on customer's technical strategy leveraging solution design best practices, cloud native use cases, and broad set of AWS solutions offered by the partner community. In this role, you will own the technical engagement with strategic partners. You will possess deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing as well as customer facing skills at all levels of a partner & customer organization. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.Roles & Responsibilities: As a member of the AWS Solutions Architect team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed systems integrators. This includes:Act as a technical leader in the field to provide architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote & accelerate partner engagements worldwideEnsure customer & partner success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platformLead deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS while ensuring solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloudBe an AWS evangelist; educate customers & partners of all sizes on the value proposition of AWSAuthor or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers, blogs, and proof of conceptsIn partnership with the sales & partner team, formulate, and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS & its partner solutionsBuild deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers & partners to enable them to be cloud advocatesCapture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect communityAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
