Our Client, a prominent player in the iGaming and Sports Affiliation industry, is on the lookout for a dedicated and proficient Backend Software Engineer with a strong inclination towards data. The successful candidate will be pivotal in architecting, constructing, and optimizing their backend systems to enhance data-driven decision-making and contribute to their continuous endeavour of delivering superior value to their clients. TasksDevelop, deploy and maintain scalable and high-availability backend services and APIs.Build data ingestion pipelines utilising platforms such as GCP and/or Azure.Engage in all phases of software development lifecycle from design to development, and testing, ensuring superb quality deliverables.Establish and adhere to best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance of software.Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to solve complex problems.Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design.Conduct data modelling and optimization to support new and existing product features.Analyse and interpret complex datasets, providing insights that can steer technical decision-making.Ensure data privacy and compliance with industry regulations.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.At least 3-5 years of experience in backend development with a focus on data-centric projects.Proficient in backend programming languages such as PHP, Python, or C#.Solid experience with database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, and caching solutions.Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools.Excellent understanding of data analytics and visualization techniques.Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.Agile/Scrum methodology experience is desirable.BenefitsCompetitive benefits package, including health insurance, pension contributions, and performance bonuses.
