Come explore Novanta.Job SummaryAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and improving manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions. Your focus will be on optimizing production processes, reducing costs and ensuring compliance.(primary responsibilities)- Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.- Perform the continuous monitoring of the production capacity to adjust resources needed to accomplish demand.- Continuous evaluation and improvement of manufacturing processes performance based on a defined set of KPI.- Continuous evaluation and improvement of quality control processes in collaboration with EOLT, Quality Assurance and the supplier network as required.- Coordinate the installation processes of manufacturing equipment and tools.- Manage any incidence/deviation found during production and notify Quality Assurance accordingly.- Ensure that the members of the production team perform their work according to the defined procedures.- Maintain a clean and safe production environment.Requirements- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering.- Proficiency in technical problem-solving- Be familiar with multiple programming languages such as Python, C#, and C/C++- Experience with PCB / PCA manufacturing processes- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams- Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively- Full Professional Proficiency in EnglishCompetencies- Innovation Management - Is good at bringing the creative ideas of others to market; has good judgment aboutwhich creative ideas and suggestions will work; has a sense about managing the creative process of others; can facilitate effective brainstorming; can project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace.- Champions Customer Value Creation - Wins with Customers: Delivers innovative solutions that help customers differentiate themselves.
