Gartner is seeking an experienced Business Analytics Manager to join our Conferences Team. In this role, you'll lead a distributed team and also independently handle data analysis and insights. Collaboration is essential as you work with colleagues across the business to understand needs and provide actionable insights. You should have solid skills in SQL, Python, and PowerPoint storytelling, with a knack for problem-solving and overcoming obstacles.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team and analyze data, delivering accurate insights.
Drive projects independently, taking full ownership from initiation to execution, with a sharp focus on thorough execution and follow-through.
Collaborate with colleagues to understand their needs and provide actionable insights.
Tell compelling stories with data and solve complex business problems.
Communicate clearly to senior stakeholders via PowerPoint and Power BI.
Required Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in business analytics, with some team management experience.
Strong SQL, Excel, and Power BI skills for data preparation and analysis.
Experience with Python in a business environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and present findings clearly.
Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business impact.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous problem-solving situations, demonstrating agility and the ability to pivot quickly with changing business priorities.
