Business Developer

CYMIT QUIMICA is the ecommerce leader in the distribution of fine chemicals and life science products for lab professionals. Cymit Quimica belongs to the Palex Medical group, a leading company in the Hospital sector.Cymit Quimica is a tech-based company. As a consequence of our strong growth we are looking for a Business Developer. We expect this new colleague will help to speed up our international growth among pharma companies, and life science and quality control labs.The job entails mainly:·Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.·Define and drive key performance metrics to measure the success of business development initiatives.·Manage and develop business for our own brands, from suppliers to end clients, including the internal processes.·Manage and expand the existing distributors' netwok.·Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.·Visit customers regularly to build healthy commercial relationships.·Collaborate with the customer service & marketing department to effectively market and promote the product portfolio.·Be the company representative in congresses and trade fairs.We would love to incorporate to our team a person with the following characteristics andknowledge:·Growth-oriented, hands-on, empathetic, with attention to detail, and team player·Excellent communication skills in a friendly and professional style·Scientific background (biochemistry, biology, chemistry, etc.) ideally with experience in a research or quality control lab.·Interest ingrowth methodologiesin tech companiesand tech culture·A solid business-acumen and experience in managingproducts, brands or projects, and making them grow.·Good command of English and Spanish and Catalan. Other languages will be valued (German, Italian, French, Mandarin).Cymit Química is located in Poblenou, Barcelona.
