Role Overview The role of Business Development Director is to grow the business across the region, taking charge of building relationships and business opportunities with key customers, mostly international mobile operators with a strong foothold in the European market. This position is key to our organization and provides the opportunity to drive our business growth, making a tremendous impact on Mondia's overall trajectory in this region. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and own a customer-centric business development and market growth strategy for increasing sales and profits. Generate new business by identifying and developing new customers, meeting with clients to close deals, and handling the entire sales life cycle. Set ambitious revenue targets for the region, achieving short and long-term results through the accomplishment of KPIs. Develop deep relationships with senior management at clients' Business Unit Head and C-level to upsell new solutions and seek better revenue/margin realization. Identify and understand trends within client departments, the overall industry, and competition. Provide smart client research and industry-specific information proactively. Manage pipeline and revenue forecasting regularly (weekly, monthly, and quarterly). Collaborate effectively with internal and external customers on business-related support activities. Act as a Brand Ambassador representing the company at community events and business-related meetings. Attract, develop, and retain talent to support local commercial operations once the business has grown sufficiently. Requirements The ideal candidate will be dynamic and driven with an extensive and autonomous approach to business development. Experience in mobile digital entertainment and mobile payment industries is advantageous. Other qualifications include: Proven track record in Business Development, ideally within Digital Content/Technology, Information Service Provider, or Mobile Digital Entertainment/Payments. Excellent network of contacts within the Telecom Operator landscape across Europe, especially Germany, France, Spain, and the UK. Background in digital technologies, Video, Games, payments, or programmatic platforms. Strong communication skills with a client-centric approach to solution-selling. Proven track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations successfully. Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of revenue forecasting and managing P&L reporting. Fluent in English and German, other languages advantageous. Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
