Judit Anido is also a co-founder and CEO at Nuage Tx (formerly co- founder and CEO at Mosaic Biomedicals and VP Operations at Northern Biologics).The company is located at the Barcelona Science Park (Parc Científic de Barcelona, PCB) (https://nuagetx.com/).We are looking for:As part of Nuage Tx's growing plan, we are seeking a proactive, results-oriented, and team-building Business Development Manager to support critical corporate activities to sustain Nuage Tx growth. The candidate will prepare and integrate strategic information through critical thinking to support corporate decisions. The candidate should demonstrate experience in business intelligence and competitive analysis from a corporate and program point of view. Strong relational and communication skills to build and manage key strategic relations with relevant stakeholders are required.The candidate should have a Master's degree or ideally a PhD in life sciences (or similar) with knowledge of the drug development business, ideally in oncology.The Business Development Manager will be supporting key activities related to planning and execution of strategic corporate matters, business intelligence, financing initiatives, and assessment of partnership opportunities, reporting directly to the CEO and supporting the Head of Business Intelligence.Key Duties:Prepare Business Development documents such as project dossiers, executive summaries, and presentations to support CEO to prepare partnering discussions and negotiations with investors, industry partners and providers with the aim of attaining suitable terms and conditions with based upon commercial, scientific, and financial analysis.Gather and analyze inputs from scientific and industry congresses, research and clinical publications, data bases, KOLs, market research, and comparable deal terms toDevelop a deep understanding of the biotech and pharma landscape, and industry trends.Identify, assess, and monitor key competitors and potential collaborators and partnersCollaborate with the R&D team to understand their data needs to assist in scientific decision-making.Manage the competitive landscape for Nuage Tx programs and technology in order to define challenges and opportunities for positioning and support strategic decision-makingIdentify non-dilutive financing opportunities and in coordination with external providers coordinate the preparation, submission, monitoring and reporting of the proposals.Build and manage relations with key stakeholders and public/Gov organizations linked to Nuage Tx providing as needed reporting documents and required information.Nuage Therapeutics S.L. Baldiri Reixac 10-12. 08028 BarcelonaWork with R&D team and Nuage Tx legal counsel to manage and negotiate contracts and SOW with key providersManage Nuage Tx website and social networks (LinkedIn)Build strong cross-functional internal and external relationships.Experience, knowledge, skills and selection criteria:MSc or ideally PhD degree in life sciences or similar (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology).2+ years of proven experience in Business Intelligence / Business Development in a biotech or pharmaceutical industry | Technology transfer and/or project evaluation (TTO, VC or similar) | Project management and development plans for drug developmentStrong analytical and data analysis skills with ability to scout for key business and scientific info and to analyze, integrate and summarize it in a clear and concise manner.
