As a Business Systems Analyst at Greystar, your primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the successful implementation and enhancement of key systems across the European business. Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, you'll leverage your expertise to oversee project execution, excel in interpersonal skills to effectively convey stakeholder requirements to technical teams, and contribute to strategic roadmap delivery. Your role will encompass system administration, project management, stakeholder collaboration, documentation, training, support, and testing of new functionalities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
System Implementation and Enhancement Collaborate with the implementation leader to ensure that the functionalities needed for the different systems are delivered and aligned with the business requirements and objectives, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration. Identify opportunities for system enhancement and optimization, working closely with stakeholders to prioritize and implement improvements, while coordinating systems upgrades, conversions, installations, and testing of new functionalities, evaluating and recommending upgrades based on business needs. Execute SAT test plans and work with stakeholders for UAT tests on key functionalities. Requirement Evaluation and Business Case Formulation Gather requirements from the business and evaluate existing functionalities to determine if solutions already exist. Formulate a business case if needed to resolve requirements, outlining the benefits, costs, and potential risks associated with proposed solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration and Support Collaborate with UK & US Systems teams to ensure systems align with local regulations, global policies, and support initiatives, addressing issues and ensuring compliance. Engage with European stakeholders to determine priorities, requirements, and implementation strategies, fostering effective communication and understanding between stakeholders and technical teams. Documentation, Training, and Support Develop and maintain software delivery communication and user training materials, including manuals, classes, and technical documents. Provide support to the Systems team and ensure necessary handoff training is provided when implementing changes. Role Scope Execute role from the Spanish office, with international travel involved. Ensure systems across the European business support operational effectiveness, are optimized, and align with corporate policies and initiatives, including testing new functionalities. Provide support to the UK & European Business. Engage closely with Greystar's Regional / International systems team to ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps and business objectives. Key Relationships Regional / International Systems Teams (Continental Europe, US & UK) Property Operations teams Finance Teams in Europe Partner Systems Consultants Knowledge & Qualifications Expertise in various systems, including Lavanda PMS (preferred), Yardi Voyager, Entrata, or Ulysses PMS. Strong understanding of Property Management Systems (PMS) in the real estate sector, with experience in system implementation and enhancement. Solid understanding of ETLs, database management, and Microsoft packages. Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user histories, and epics. Fluent in English and one or more European languages (Dutch, German, French, Spanish preferable). Experience & Skills Experience in operational business systems, with a focus on system implementation and enhancement, including testing new functionalities. Strong business analysis skills and a passion for customer service. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying stakeholder requirements to technical teams.
