col-wideJob Description:We are looking for a Business Unit Manager to join our Consultancy Squad. The Services business unit is responsible for the conception of new services for multimedia projects leveraging our broad expertise in multimedia technologies and GStreamer. She/he will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term plans and strategies, analyzing market trends and customer needs, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and Business Unit members.**Objective**As a Business Unit Manager you are responsible for overseeing and managing the correct operations of the Business Unit. The primary goal is to ensure that the business unit achieves its financial and strategic OKRs by developing and implementing effective business strategies, managing the Business Unit's budget and resources, and monitoring performance metrics in a multifunctional team.**Responsibilities**- Lead the Squad to accomplish the Consultancy Business Unit plan.- Organize the working model with the Consultancy Business Unit team (regular meetings, planning, goals, etc).- Ensure the correct execution of requests given to Department Managers (Engineering, Product, QA, Web,..)- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and quality.- Create the corresponding team's tasks and define their deadlines to delegate the operational duties.- Responsible of keeping track of the subordinates achievements based on the established KPIs.- Recruiting and hiring new strategic employees- Be responsible to coordinate all the training and events Budgets- Generation of reports to the Board of Directors focused on the business unit achievements.- Be a reviewer of any operational task if requested- Be the PoC for key accounts of the Consultancy Business Unit**Skills & Competencies**- Self-motivated, prepared to take ownership,- Goal & action oriented with ability to perform analysis, to prepare & submit proposals, to think ahead and participate in decision taking.- Entrepreneur with business comprehension.- Team player who is able to listen, communicate & convince.- Knowledge of Multimedia or Tech business is an advantage.**Qualifications**- Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years as a Tech Project Manager or similiar positions.- University or Engineer School degree, preferably in business engineering or economics, or engineering with experience in Sales, Economics or Business Administration.- Several years of technology related in engineering/consulting experience in the IT industry.- Some experience working in international or European Projects- Good IT Skills (MS Office)- Fluent in English and Spanish- Working processes and requirements of the Multimedia (audio/video) industry
