.If you are ambitious, self-motivated, hardworking and a team player and interested in growing your career with an International FMCG business, please read through our job opportunity.Key Responsibilities include:Control month end reporting process with responsibility for managing the timetable and closing of ledgersOwnership of SAP master data and Hyperion FDM rules and mappingsReconcile month-end exceptional costs, and review with Group Financial Accounting ManagerWork with Group Financial Accounting Manager to implement process improvementsManage the balance sheet reviews process with Chief Accountants so that all entities are reviewed at least quarterlyManage half-year and year-end Risks & Ops reviewsManage IFRS 16 processes and queries including providing support to Chief Accountants to ensure accurate and complete recording.Reconcile month-end IFRS 16 leases for UK entityOwnership of the leasing software data – customise reports and act as super user for this softwareManage and report the group net sales for month endReconcile month-end group financial instrumentsManage payroll journals for the group, using outputs from the ADP softwareManage the creation of new cost centres and general ledger accounts for the groupSupport the year-end external audit, being a key contact for Group audit teamManage implementation of internal audit recommendations, liaising with and supporting Chief Accountants as requiredAnalysis of additional statutory reporting to ensure accurate and complete data for Interim and Annual ReportsSupport the quarterly legal claims review to ensure completeness of provisions and relevant support for audit requirementsInvolved in process improvement and system implementation projects, as required by Management- Deputise for and provide ad hoc support for Group Financial Accounting Manager- Ad hoc requests and support for Finance-related projectsTechnical Competencies/Qualifications:Part-qualified or Newly qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA – experience in external audit would be beneficialPrivacy Statement: We will use the personal information that you have submitted to us in order to consider your application for the relevant role.
