Position and Responsibilities
As a member of the engineering team at Cameco's Blind River refinery, you will be responsible for delivering engineering projects in support of the facility. Engineering projects range from simple single-discipline design changes to larger project comprised of a combination of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, control, chemical process, and environmental disciplines. Delivery will include a combination of self-performed engineering work and coordination of multi-discipline teams of Cameco technical staff or third-party consultants. Responsibilities of this position include project management, preliminary design, detail design, procurement, and construction contract administration in accordance with Cameco's procedures and relevant codes and standards.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements for the position:
- B.Sc. Engineering with status or eligibility for licensure with Professional Engineers Ontario
- Relevant experience and familiarity with ASME pressure vessel codes
- Project management and process design experience
- Technical writing, problem-solving and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with SAP business management software will be an asset.
