About Us Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role Cameco is looking for a motivated, team-oriented professional who values integrity, safety and the environment and strives to incorporate those values into their everyday achievements. 
You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position. However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office/travel to site. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
In this role, you will: As a member of the Strategic Sourcing team, you will work closely with category managers, contracts administrators, procurement, and site stakeholder teams to create contracts for high risk and/or high value operational spend, while ensuring the contract development process and procedures are effectively executed Collaborate with end users to determine contracting type and strategy, developing and initiating requests for proposals, evaluating proposals, completing award recommendations, contract conformance and execution in compliance with Cameco's policies, standards and codes.  Additional responsibilities include liaising with internal legal counsel.  responsible for the coaching and mentoring of staff on the best practices, work processes and performance expectations set for the team.  You will play a lead role in the development and updating of process, procedures, work instructions, flow diagrams etc. for various contract development functions.  Required: Bachelor's degree in commerce, law or engineering A minimum of seven years of experience, specifically in supply chain management Extensive experience in negotiating, developing, and executing large contracts, including master agreements for goods or services, consulting services, transportation services, labour services, supply of goods, or construction contracts.
