We are looking for a highly motivated Facultative Underwriter for Casualty single risks in Iberia and its interests abroad. The dynamics of these markets require a strong focus on business development, including demanding new products and solutions.
Management of new business projects and initiatives In collaboration with team members, proactive business development in co-creation with clients and brokers, providing tailor made solutions. Developing new client relationships and strengthen existing ones to achieve expected growth and profit contribution Risk assessment, pricing and acceptance of Casualty single risks, including definition of reinsurance conditions, in accordance with internal underwriting guidelines, targets and client strategies. Achieving planned underwriting results for new and existing business. Your profile 3 years of underwriting experience in an (re)insurance company or broker. Knowledge of relevant software such as Excel, Power BI as well as underwriting monitoring and reporting tools Strong client focus and interest in developing tailor made solutions Preparedness to take ownership, proactive, highly self-motivated and target-oriented Proven intercultural competence and team player in multidisciplinary environments Business-fluent (written and spoken) Spanish and English.
