We are looking for a Channel Manager in San Cugat, Barcelona. With at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES Mission: You will be responsible for generating profitable sales growth and increase the market share of Telemecanique Sensors through our distributors, reporting to the Iberian Sensors Manager.
Working closely with – and get support from – the Cluster Leader, Sales & Marketing Team, your key areas will be:
• Communication, deployment and adaptation of the Business Unit strategy, as well as leading the channel Sensors, in the Spanish market.
• Development and implementation of distributor partner programs.
Main functions:
? Contributes, in close collaboration with the Cluster Leader / Sales Manager (and, when needed with the BU Offer Management team), to the definition of the country business commercial policy.
? Build strategy for Global and Local initiatives, deploy and track progress during the year.
? Develops, executes and ensures follow-up through of the business planning process and operational program implementation.
? Build push/pull campaigns with distribution team.
? Collaborate with the sales team to increase business identified, fulfilled, and especially owned by partners. Manage and support the launch of new offers to encourage growth of market.
? Develop, maintain, and utilize proactive relationships with key channel management and partner program to create new opportunities for Telemecanique Sensors.
? Increase mind share with our channel partners through regular engagement, product trainings, joint sales calls, promotional events and solving their customers problems, eventually achieve sales target.
? Meet distributors' specifications and terms and conditions (contractual, technical, and commercial).
? Put a strong focus on customer digital experience and activities as a differentiate for sustainable and profitable growth
? Use available resources (e.g. trade shows, networking, industry publications, market data) to grow knowledge of market intelligence.
? Attends joint visits with the distributor's sales force and implements joint action plans between Telemecanique Sensors and the distribution channel.
REQUIREMENTS We are looking for a professional with at least 3 years of experience in the related industries, in solution selling and account management in Industrial Automation to OEMs, Channel or End Users. We need a proven track record in business development plans that successfully contribute for new and sustainable businesses, someone that understands the offer, market and competition, including price positioning, to better define successful profitable commercial plans.
• Experience: At least 3 years working in an industrial environment with OEM's, and the stakeholders in the sales process. Experience with various sensor technologies would be a plus!
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Automation preferred.
• Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus!
• Technical skills: Used to work with BI and CRM systems. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Application.
• Soft skills: High standards of presentation and problem-solving skills, ability to influence people. Excellent organisational skills; you can handle multiple demands and assignments across multiple time zones, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence and persuade internal and external Customers, listen effectively, and solicit input from others. Open minded, result oriented and permanent learner is the quality that we are looking for. It is expected that customer needs will be documented and need close collaboration with the development engineers, marketing and offer managers to further develop the offer and its value to customers.
