Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting (TAA) is looking for an experienced Chief Architect to join its Spanish Software Engineering team (SDCAM) at an exciting time as we accelerate our Cloud development.The Chief Architect is responsible for the overall architectural guidance and the engineering of the technical components within the TAA Spain product software development. The role provides advice and consulting services to the business units, acting as both a challenger and a moderator to divergent technology strategies and resolving conflicts on technical and architectural aspects in the operational work.**Responsibilities**:The role of Chief Architect includes direct responsibility for, or oversight of the following:- Manage about 40 people,covering both online and on-premises solutions and technical component engineering:- Solution Architects- Senior Developers dedicated to the technical core of our platforms- Product Owners of the technical components and Data Lake- UI specialists dedicated to the development of our Front End components- Accountable for direction, performance, and ongoing health of the Application, Information, Data, and Technology architecture and design processes within SDCAM- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to execute SAFe-based balanced quarterly plans, aiming at delivering future-proof products matching our customers' expectations- Collaborate with the European Enterprise Architect to co-create the Architectural Vision, Strategy and Roadmap on solution portfolio level in alignment with the Group objectives- Cultivate relationships with relevant stakeholders and engage and influence C-level/senior leaders on technical and architectural topics as needed to influence organizational and structural change- Communicate and evangelize architectural direction, vision, goals,and strategy to stakeholders ranging from business leaders to developers- Foster excellence by resolutely engaging the teams in DevOps practices, SDLC improvement and enforcing Security throughout the whole development process- Build and maintain a high performing cross functional Architecture Community made up of talented architects and engineering professionals- Inspire innovation and deliver quality at speed across offerings and platforms, supported by adequate KPI- Lead through ambiguity and conflict, make tough calls to eventually achieve desired outcomes- Facilitate design reviews of products and services to ensure they are operable, scalable, and meet latency requirements, availability requirements,maintenance objectives and are comparatively low cost and well monitoredExperience and technology skills:- 10 years in software engineering working as architect/lead developer, 5 years leading engineers and several years as Chief Architect or similar positions- Very strong overall technical skills, at architect level, with true depth in multiple areas, preferably with modern technologies. E.G., cloud native (Azure preferred), microservices, REST API and GraphQL, process digitization, modern data architecture, digital/mobile channels, security on-prem and in the cloud, software architecture and engineering- Solid experience with architecture models, methodologies, governance- Used Agile and Lean methodologies and DevOps to deliver enterprise-level solutions- Preferably experience with.NET/.NET Core, C#, VB.NET, and Angular #J-18808-Ljbffr
