We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join our team. Your responsibilities will involve providing insightful financial analysis, accurate reporting, and driving continuous improvement in finance processes. Additionally, you will lead budget planning, and cash management, playing a key role in funding and financing activities while maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.ManagementDepartmentFull-TimeHoursLocationResponsibilities you'll be handling:Being a sparring partner to the CEO and a key member of the management team.Leading the finance function, including Accounting, Controlling, Legal, and Investor Relations.Providing relevant information, detailed analysis and background to underlying business performance, external benchmarks, and insights to support decision-making.Reporting accurate financial results to the management and shareholders, as well as preparing ad-hoc analyses.Continuous improvement and optimization of financial processes as well as controlling instruments and tools.Budget planning and forecasting, as well as cash and liquidity management.Supporting and driving funding and financing processes.Acting as the main point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, and other external contacts.We expect you to have these skills:Experience in preparing and executing financing rounds and financial optimization of investments in rapid-growth companiesUniversity degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines.Significant experience as a CFO in a manufacturing company, ideally experience working in the chemical industry.Financing experience and a good network of banks would be advantageous.Ideally, prior experience working in a start-up environment as well as a corporate environment.Previous experience working with private equity/venture capital investors.Outstanding finance skill set with strong controlling and accounting capabilities - knowledge of project controlling is highly beneficial.Knowledge of how to deal with various stakeholders, such as shareholders and banks.Entrepreneurial mindset with a high-energy level and a hands-on mentality.Strong analytical and strategic skills.Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
