Civil Project Engineer

Position SummaryResponsible to provide supervision on any matters relevant to Civil and Structural works by ensuring the quality, timing, and sequence of the Process Civil and Structural Engineering works. This includes acting as a liaison, ensuring smooth communication between the field and the office and working with engineers and contractors to ensure the successful and efficient completion of a construction project.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringAt least 10 years of progressive work experience as a Civil Project EngineerAt least 5 years as a lead or supervisor for Civil Engineering disciplineAt least 1 year of experience in construction of a coal-fired power plantEvidence of Professional Competence, desired but not requiredCompetenciesCivil and Structural Engineering works of an Industrial or Coal-Fired Power PlantKnowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCADUnderstanding construction sequencing, logistics planning, scheduling techniquesSubstantial understanding of Power Plant TechnologyAbility to interpret technical drawings and manualsOral and Written Communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teamsInterpersonal multi-cultural skillsAbility to share knowledge and coach site staffAdministrative and Coordinating SkillsComputer Skills and Proficiency in MS Office or similar software#J-18808-Ljbffr
