Linesight is committed to protecting the confidentiality and privacy of information entrusted to us. This Privacy Statement is for this website, www.linesight.com, and served by Linesight. It governs the privacy of its users who choose to use it, and sets out what information we collect, how we collect it, what we do with it and how we protect this information.

Linesight complies with its obligations under the Data Protection Acts by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure, and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information which we hold about you, to correct any inaccuracies and to object to the processing of your personal data subject to certain criteria. You have a right to have your information transferred where technically feasible. You can request that we no longer hold your personal information subject to certain criteria. We will respond within one month of the receipt of your request. We reserve the right to charge a fee to cover our costs where we feel the access request is unfounded or excessive. You have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority specifically in the member state where you habitually reside or place of the alleged infringement if you consider we have infringed your data protection rights.
How long do we keep your personal data? We keep your personal data for no longer than reasonably necessary for a period of three years in case of any claims/complaints.
Marketing We may contact you with information about our products and services through email. All such communications will come from Linesight or our selected marketing partners. You have the right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to third party marketing companies. You will also be given the opportunity on every email communication that we or our trusted partners send you to indicate that you no longer wish to receive our or their direct marketing material.

Recruitment Privacy Policy   ThisLinesight Recruiting Privacy Policy(Privacy Policy) describes the privacy and security practices that Linesight, its subsidiaries and affiliates (Linesight, we or us) employ when collecting, using and handling (processing) personal information about you in connection with our online and offline recruitment activities.  
It also explains the choices you have in relation to these processing activities.  
Personal informationmeans all information that relates to an identified individual or to an identifiable individual. For example, your name, address, email address, educational and employment background, CV/resume and job qualifications. Personal information is also referred to asinformation about you.  
This Privacy Policy applies to Linesight's processing of personal information of job applicants, potential candidates for employment, those who have participated in recruiting events and others who have expressed an interest in Linesight in connection with Linesight's recruiting activities more generally, conducted both offline and online via the Sites (as defined below).  
Who is responsible for processing your personal information?   Linesight having its registered address at Hoban House, Dublin 4, Ireland and the local Linesight entity/entities of the country/countries in which you applied for a job offer, are responsible for processing your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.  
Which categories of personal information do we process and from which sources?   We process personal information that you provide directly to us, such as when you submit a job application on the Sites or in connection with a recruiting event, or when we conduct a remote or in-person interview. We may also receive personal information about you from other sources, such as from references, in connection with background or employment checks, target companies where Linesight conducts due diligence related to a potential acquisition of your employer, and from third party sources like professional headhunters or recruiting firms, data brokers or if allowed by applicable law other sources such as Sites. Sites include, without limitation, social sites where you have created a public page or profile or otherwise given permission so that recruiters can access your information on these sites.  
Linesight may process the following categories of personal information for our recruitment activities:  
Name and contact details   Educational background   Employment background   Job qualifications and work eligibility, including your nationality, country of residence, and visa and immigration status   Jobs in which you have expressed an interest or for which you would like to submit an application   CV, resume or transcripts, and any supporting documentation attached to your resume such as copies of certificates and diplomas   Employment references   Compensation details, such as salary information, depending on your region   Background check information, such as a verification of your educational and professional background, and other relevant information subject to Linesight policies and applicable laws   Information about your personality, competency, ability and suitability for a position   Certain types of sensitive personal information as described below   For information collected about you in the EU/EEA and other relevant regions, what is our basis for processing?   1. Personal data is collected to fill vacant positions and for the engagement and payment of employees, as follows:  
To identify and evaluate candidature,   In assessing skills, qualifications and interest against our career opportunities,   To set up and conduct interviews and assessments,   To evaluate, select and recruit applicants,   To conduct recruit assessments as required,   To contact third party references provided by applicants   To evaluate applicant's previous performances or as otherwise necessary in context of recruitment activities,   To keep records related to the Linesight recruitment process.   2. The necessity for us to comply with legal obligations  
Complying with your information rights.   C omplying with Linesight's statutory responsibilities imposed by legislation. The data processed to meet statutory responsibilities includes, but is not limited to, data relating to: tax; social insurance; statutory sick pay; statutory maternity and paternity pay; paternity leave; and equal opportunities monitoring.   3. Occasionally it may be necessary for Linesight to process personal data in order to protect a vital interest of an individual.   5. To run our organisation on a day-to-day basis including to  
  Compile and process your information for audit, statistical or reporting purposes(including, in some instances, making your data anonymous).   Protect our business, reputation, resources and equipment and manage the Linesight network systems, and information.   Provide security and prevent and detect crime including using CCTV at our premises.   Manage and administer our legal and compliance affairs.   Linesight will only process your personal data for the purposes for which they were originally collected and it will only be processed further for the following closely related business purposes:  
T ransferring the personal data to an archive;   Conducting internal audits or investigations;   Implementing business controls;   Conducting statistical analysis or research as required;   Preparing for or engaging in dispute resolution;   Using legal or business consulting services; or   Managing insurance issues.   'Processing' covers all activities involving your personal information, including collecting, handling, storing, sharing, accessing, using, transferring and disposing of the information.  
How is personal information handled globally?   Linesight is a global business and personal information is transferred, accessed, and stored globally including in countries or regions outside of the one in which you reside. If your personal information is transferred to an Linesight recipient or third party in a country that does not provide an adequate level of protection for personal information Linesight will take measures designed to ensure that your personal information is adequately protected and where required, transferred subject to appropriate transfer mechanisms such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or similar legally recognized standard contractual clauses  
Sharing your personal data   We do not share any of your Personal Data except in limited cases.  
Linesight will need to share your personal information internally and may be required to share it with some external parties. We process this information for a range of purposes relating to recruitment and to enable these processes, your personal information may be shared internally, but the information shared is limited to what is required by each individual to perform their role in the recruitment process.  
Your personal information may be shared internally with the following people:  
Those employees who would have managerial responsibility for you or are acting on their behalf;   Employees in P&OD (People & Organisational Development Team) who have responsibility for certain HR processes (for example recruitment, assessment, pre-employment screening);   Employees who are part of the selection and / or interview panel; and   Employees with responsibility for policies and contractual requirements.   In the event of your application resulting in the offer and your acceptance of a position, your personal information will be held in Linesight's staff database and will be shared with the following internal functions:  
Employees in ICT (Information and Communication Technology Team) and system owners who manage user access and setup; and   Linesight will also need to share your information with certain external third parties including:  
Companies or individuals who provide recruitment, candidate interview, and assessment services;   Academic institutions (Universities, colleges, etc.) in validating information you've provided;   Previous employers in validating employment history;   Service provides providing operational and systems support and maintenance. These include ICT systems services, ICT maintenance, software development, document storage and destruction, printing, couriers, auditors and consultants including legal advisors.   This list is not exhaustive, and the Company may undertake additional processing of personal Data.  
How long we hold your information   The length of time we hold your data depends on a number of factors such as:  
The type of data we hold about you.   Whether there is a legal obligation to hold the data for a minimum specified period.   Whether there is a public interest basis to hold the data for a specified period.   Where there is a sound evidence-based reason to hold the data for a specified period.   As a general rule, we keep your information for a specified period after the date on which your interaction with us has completed.  
Unsuccessful applicant data will be held within the recruitment system for a period of 2 years before being deleted so that we can respond to statutory reporting requests. Successful applicant data resulting in subsequent employment will be retained for 6 years following cessation of employment (excepting service records for pension purposes).  
Depending on your country (or state) of residence, you may have certain choices and rights in relation to our use of information about you, such as the right to access, correct and update, erase or delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information.  
If you make your request electronically, we will, where possible, provide the relevant information electronically unless you ask us otherwise.  
You have the right to:  
Find out if we use your information, to access your information and to receive copies of the information we have about you.   Request that inaccurate information is corrected and incomplete information updated.   Object to particular uses of your personal data which you believe is causing damage or distress and where the legal basis for our use of your data is the performance of a task in the public interest or our legitimate business interests or.However, doing so may have an impact on the extent of completion of the recruitment process with you. If you wish to object to certain data processing operations, please state et out how the processing is causing you unwarranted and substantial damage and distress.   Have your data deleted or its use restricted – you have a right to this under certain circumstances. For example, where you withdraw consent you gave us previously and there is no other legal basis for us to retain it, or where youobject to our use of your personal information for particular legitimate business interests.   Obtain a transferable copy of certain data to which can be transferred to another provider, known as "the right to data portability". This right applies where personal information is being processed based on consent or for performance of a contract and the processing is carried out by automated means. You are not able to obtain through the data portability right all of the personal information that you can obtain through the right of access. The right also permits the transfer of data directly to another provider where technically feasible.Therefore, depending on the technology involved, we may not be able to receive personal data transferred to us and we will not be responsible for the accuracy of same.   Withdraw consent at any time, where any processing is based on consent. If you withdraw your consent, it will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.   To facilitate your request, when contacting us, please specify the reasons why the personal data are incorrect, incomplete or not lawfully processed. Please note that in certain circumstances Linesight may not be able to fulfil your request as we may be legally required to keep such data.  
You can exercise these choices in accordance with applicable laws.  
Within the EU you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission or another supervisory authority.  
How is your personal information secured?   Linesight has implemented appropriate technical, physical, and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, damage, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access as well as all other forms of unlawful processing (including, but not limited to, unnecessary collection) or further processing.  
Does Linesight collect sensitive personal information?   Linesight not only respects but celebrates Diversity and Inclusion in its workforce. What are your responsibilities?   You are responsible for the personal information that you provide or make available to Linesight, and you must ensure it is truthful, accurate, and up-to-date in all respects. You must ensure that the information provided does not contain material that is obscene, defamatory, or infringing on any rights of any third party; does not contain malicious code; and is not otherwise legally actionable. Further, if you provide any personal information concerning any other person, such as individuals you provide as references, you are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consents necessary for Linesight to collect and use that information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you provide misleading, inaccurate, or incomplete information Linesight may determine you are ineligible for employment. You understand that this Privacy Policy does not form part of any employment contract you may be offered in connection with your employment at Linesight.
