Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment and utensils.• Monitor and manage daily pantry supplies, ensuring their availability and quality.• Receive and verify food and kitchen product orders, checking expiration dates and condition of delivery.• Ensure punctuality and proper preparation of meals according to supervised menus.• Prepare food service carts or supervise this function when delegated to kitchen assistants.• Place orders with food and cleaning suppliers when assigned to do so.• Ensure proper uniform and hygiene standards of staff under your supervision.
Requirements
• Specific culinary training and at least 6 months of experience as a cook in a restaurant, preferably in a hospital or senior care facility.• Positive consideration for candidates with food handler and cleaning product utilization courses.
