Empresas: Four Seasons Mallorca Formentor About Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor: The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes, the hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate. Currently undergoing restoration and renovation, this stunning historic property is scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in mid-2024.? ?The resort will have a total of 109 rooms and suites, culinary experiences, including a signature restaurant, a beachfront restaurant and café, and a poolside bar and grill, events space, spa and fitness facilities, direct access to the beach, adult pool access to the beach, adult pool and vitality pool, Kids for All Seasons, and a wine tasting experience in the vineyards. We are looking for a Cook to join our pre-opening team. The Cook is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Cook prepares breakfast, lunch and/or dinner per guest orders from all outlets in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. - Prepare food items of consistent quality according to guest orders following recipe, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including, food processor, mixer, oven. - Maintain a clean and efficient station. - Strong knowledge of health codes and full understanding of all knife cuts - Label and date all food containers and rotates as per policies. - Determines necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up - Returns all food items not used to designated storage areas. - Manage and prioritize tasks by shift. Requisitos : Our ideal Cook candidate have excellent teamwork skills. Attention to detail and the ability to multi task are required. The Cook position is required to operate, maintain and properly clean all pastry shop equipment. Applicants also are required to have a trade apprenticeship or other form of register training in the culinary discipline. It is required minimum two years of culinary experience in a luxury restaurant or similar. Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and culinary operations is required. Position also requires continuous standing for up to 8 hrs. per shift and the ability to lift up to 30Kg. Applicants also are needed to have a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English and Spanish is also required. Must have the legal right to work in Spain.
