Collection Specialist/Supervisor/Treasury AssociateGenerate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues, payment methods, and account balances.Reconcile payments received with invoices and update records accordingly.Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve billing processes.Prepare reports on billing and collection activities for management review.Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing billing and collections practices.Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.Proven experience in billing, collections, or related role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.Familiarity with billing software and ERP systems is a plus.Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.COLLECTION SUPERVISORDuties and Responsibilities:Generate regular reports on collection performance, including key metrics such as collection rates, aging analysis, and portfolio health.Analyze collection data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.Present findings and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing debt collection practices.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.Oversee the collection process and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.Monitor overdue accounts and prioritize collection efforts based on account aging and risk assessment.Review and approve payment arrangements, settlements, and write-offs within authorized limits.Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes in a professional and timely manner.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.Proven experience in collections management or a similar role, with a demonstrated track record of success in improving collection rates and reducing bad debt losses.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to debt collection.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.Experience with debt collection software or CRM systems preferred.TREASURY ASSOCIATEDuties and Responsibilities:Assist in managing daily cash activities including cash positioning, and liquidity management.Execute cash movements such as wire transfers, ACH transactions, and intercompany transfers in a timely and accurate manner.Monitor cash balances across bank accounts and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs.Support bank relationship management efforts, including negotiating banking services and fees, and coordinating the opening and closing of bank accounts.Prepare cash flow forecasts to anticipate future cash needs and support financial planning and decision-making.Assist in analyzing financial risks such as interest rate risk, credit risk, and market risk, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations.Prepare treasury reports and dashboards for senior management and external stakeholders, and assist in financial analysis and reporting.Collaborate with internal departments such as accounting, finance, and procurement to support business operations and strategic initiatives.Participate in special projects, system implementations, and process improvements within the treasury function.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accountancy1-3 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or finance role.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.Knowledge of treasury management systems (TMS) and banking platforms preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
