Communication Systems Product Manager For Combat

A position as a Communication Systems Product Manager for Combat Aircraft has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Madrid.The mission of this position is to Lead the overall design, development and qualification/certification of the Communications System (HW and SW) to satisfy customer and regulatory requirements as well as programme cost and schedule needs. Responsible for technical definition in a given program, focusing on engineering deliverables, schedule, cost, quality and risk management aspects up to final customer acceptance.Task & accountabilities:The tasks will be the following:Input: Customer needs/requirements, program constraints, regulatory/qualification requirements, technology readiness, engineering capability and capacity.Output: All technical decisions necessary for efficient development and testing, on time delivery and customer acceptance for operation.A specific focus on leadership is required for an operational management of the multifunctional team and liaison with Chief Engineering Office, Program Office and Customer. The roleholder will have to manage development, qualification and certification of the Communications equipment of Combat Aircraft from the offer phase to contract signature.
