The Job Description attachedis a generic Job Description which is for PSSD Contracts Manager PFI/PPP.
The post advertised will be based at University Hospital Hairmyres, East Kilbride and will cover both Hairmyres and Stonehouse Hospitals. The Role The successful candidate's role will be to provide support to the Head of PFI/PPP Contracts to manage, audit and co-ordinate the PFI Contract. They will also ensurecompliance with all statutory legislation and industry guidance.

What we'll need you to bring Professional Management and or Technical related qualification. Minimum HND/HNC or equivalent standard. Senior management experience preferably in the Health Care Environment. Experience of contract specification, procurement and evaluation of tenders/proposals. Experience of contract management and monitoring. Formal continual professional development courses. Valid full UK/EU/EEA driving license. Membership of a professional body. It would be great if you also have Experience inPFI Environment Good working knowledge of statutory requirements Good working knowledge of NHS specific guidance Knowledge of PFI contract principles Ability to take responsibility, show leadership, make decisions, exert appropriate authority Contract type Permanent Full time 37hours Location This role will be based in PFI Contracts within University Hospital Hairmyres and cover Stonehouse Hospitals.

From 1 April 2024, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change workers in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37.5 to 37 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
NHS Lanarkshire will implement this change but it may not be possible to fully transition from 1 April and there may therefore be some areas of the organisation where implementation may take longer. If the department is currently unable to safely accommodate the reduced hours from 1st April, you may be required to work 37.5 hours per week until the department can meet the requirements without impacting patient safety - you will, of course, be remunerated accordingly. NHS Lanarkshire is committed to full implementation of the 37 hour working week across all areas as soon as it is safe to do so.
