You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, providing insightful analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. You'll work closely with various teams across the organization, ensuring financial transparency and contributing to our ambitious growth plans.Responsibilities:Manage the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Prepare accurate and timely financial statements according to GAAP or IFRS (whichever is applicable).Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Conduct monthly and quarterly closings, variance analysis, and financial reporting.Manage cash flow forecasting and budgeting, ensuring sufficient funds for operational needs.Partner with other teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to provide financial insights and support strategic planning.Analyze financial data, identify trends, and present actionable recommendations to leadership.Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting regulations and industry best practices.Oversee tax preparation and filing processes (may require collaboration with an external tax advisor).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA or CMA a plus).Minimum 3+ years of experience in a controller role, preferably within a startup environment.Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.Demonstrated ability to work independently while also thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Passion for technology and a strong desire to contribute to the success of a growing startup.We are looking for team players that focus on the outcome of the team above the individual needs, with respect and honest challenge.Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills.The ideal candidate should count with a "can do attitude", willing to solve any obstacle by himself.
