col-wideJob Description:**HRCS - Área General**:Si estás interesado/a en esta u otras ofertas de empleo, no dudes en inscribirte a nuestra base de talento.**Job description**:A leading company in the fitness sector is looking to strengthen its finance department by seeking a Group Controller/ Reporting Manager to assist the Group Finance Director in Spain and Portugal with routine and strategic workflows.**Functions**:- Ensure group reporting is delivered accurately and on a timely basis, including performing technical accounting & consolidation activities, with responsibility for statutory Group accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 101) for the UK parent.- Responsible for the group 5 year plan, updating monthly.- Coordinate and complete the monthly corporate reporting processes as well as preparation of consolidated annual financial statements.- Responsible for various separate statutory accounts of the company.- Monthly preparation of consolidated management reports.- Manage and coordinate the completion of the group's consolidated management accounts.- Controlling forecasts and long-term financing plan.- Manage Black Desert Online (BDO) UK accounts for the delivery of quarterly accounts.- Responsible for the timely delivery of the monthly Board Pack.- Manage and coordinate with country controllers for the preparation of the Board Pack.- Manage the debt service and incurrence agreement for each new gymnasium to the bank.- Coordinate with Portugal CFO and Spanish Treasury cash movements between countries.- Prepare quarterly covenants and submit them.- Manage returns to investors.- AdHoc analysis (cash flow, financing scenarios...).- Main contact for group auditors.- Liaise with external auditors on technical accounting and regulatory reporting issues.- Coordinate technical projects, such as changes to IFRS for the group's consolidated accounts.- Preparation of statutory and consolidated group accounts according to IFRS and Companies Act.- Impairment testing for every gym.- Support the implementation process of new accounting standards.- Support the maintaining and reviewing of the group accounting policies.- Oversee the preparation and review of the group's statutory accounts.- As part of the audit process, provide appropriate information.- Ensure compliance and appropriate controls for VGG Ltd and assist with any audit requests.- Monitor BREXIT and any implications this may have on the annual consolidation process.- Review the Group tax position with the companies tax advisors to maximize tax position.- Co-ordinate the group budget.- Prepare long term plan to be exit ready.- Attend meetings with selling agents.**Requirements**:- Will be qualified accountant, holding ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent.- Excellent knowledge of IFRS.- Experience preparing and/or reviewing statutory and consolidated financial statements.- Have a great attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to multi-task and adapt to different business environments.- Experience with external and internal reporting, including month end, preferably in a group/consolidation environment.- Experiencing of working in a team with varied stakeholders.- Preparation of technical accounting assessments and memorandums.- In addition, we are searching for someone a person with agility, collaborative skills, courage, focus and delivery is sought.
