As part of our ASRS team, you will be responsible for commissioning automated material handling systems within this department across the globe.
You will work towards developing a strong understanding of Dematic control systems while sharpening your skills in producing electrical and software design amendments.

What we offer: Career Development Competitive Compensation and Benefits Pay Transparency Global Opportunities Your Main Responsibilities: Reading and correctly interpreting electrical layout and schematic drawings using appropriate CAD tools.
Assisting in Factory testing of the PLC and visualisation software.
Interpreting design input information and produce sorter control system configuration databases for assigned projects in house.
Verifying quality of electrical installation on site and troubleshoot errors.
Liaising with electrical installation supervisors and subcontractors.
Following the test procedures, verifying basic functionality of control software on site to be able to run the ASRS in standalone mode.
Integrating ASRS control system with external subsystems (3rd party subsystems, host WMS / WCS) ensuring full functionality following the relevant test procedures and according to project specifications.
Providing support to site-wide system commissioning activities until acceptance by the end-user.
Recording all of the software commissioning test results into the proper modules attached to the commissioning test procedure.
Feedback relevant information to electrical and software engineering teams to produce amendments to control system designs.
About you: You have a degree or experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Controls Engineering.
Educated to professional degree level in a relevant discipline.
Previously held a similar role, have experience in electrical installation process, previous use of CAD tools and PLC programming (desirable, but not essential).
Passionate about automation, engineering, and technological innovation.
You have great communication skills and ability to easily adapt to various cultural backgrounds.
Self-motivated, initiative and seeking for continuous self-development.
Excited about travelling globally, up to 80% of the time.
Full working proficiency in English.
Hold a valid driving license.
