To ensure development of policies and procedures, to ensure their implementation, and monitor compliance and best practices of the administration area internal control.GENERAL FUNCTIONS Coordinate and develop the projects in the area.Ensure that financial and administrative processes at the corporate level are correctly follow in the group.Define and mark the administrative processes that ensure internal control.Assist in the coordination of activities to ensure timely compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) legislation, and monthly and quarterly corporate requirements.Review, evaluate and document internal controls within the SOX web tool.Assist in the selection/testing of transactions and report the aggregate testing result to local and corporate management.Assist in the remediation of any internal control weaknesses identified.Ensure that adequate support for transaction and report the aggregated testing result to local and corporate management.Assist in the remediation of any internal control weaknesses identified.Ensure in that adequate support for transaction testing is obtain from process owners and maintained per corporate guidelines.Assist in the coordination of external and internal audits for internal control.Work with business process owners to design, document and implement new accounting policies and procedures in compliance with Corporate GAAP, internal/corporate policy requirements and industry best practices.Work with the Internal Control and Special Projects Manager, at local and corporate level.Assist with special projects as needed.Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices.
