Novomoney is an exciting new consumer lender and we are looking to enhance our team with an experienced Loans Approvals Officer.If you seek the challenge to build your own team around you and the opportunity for promotion to a senior level in this new highly funded and fast growing lender, then apply here.You will work with our portfolio managers and to create a smooth process for credit assessment and approvals administrators. Your main objective will be t allow the business to grow while maintaining a credit risk profile that meets the company's appetite for risk.Duties and Responsibilities:Promote a culture that results in an aggregate moderate-to-low risk portfolio.Establishes, implements, and manages administrative controls and procedures to protect the quality and profitability of the loan portfolios.Manages credit structuring and negotiation strategy discussions with portfolio managers.Analyse, underwrite and approve/disapprove credit requests and ensure that all credit requests come with the required supporting documents and data.Identifies potential problem credit profiles and work with business unit owners to minimize risk of losses.Advises staff, officers and/or business units on the company overall lending policies.If you have had prior credit approval authority within a direct to consumer commercial lender, we want you to be part of our team!Requirements:Must speak English to a professional working level.Strong management and mentoring skills.Ability to resolve issues and drive performance.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Ability to work in a high-volume environment.Excellent client management skills.Interact professionally and effectively with clients, business partners, and peers at all levels.Goal-oriented.Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical ability.Resourceful.Working knowledge of legal / documentation issues.What do we offer?Permanent contract.Full time from Monday to Friday.Salary 30,000 - 40,000 + bonus.Flexible remuneration package.Excellent working environment.Possibility of professional growth and promotion within the company.Free membership to the company gym.#J-18808-Ljbffr
