As part of the Data Office team, the Business Engagement Team Lead will be responsible to define the Data Strategy among with the Chief Data Officer, the business areas, and other data leaders within Zurich.Turn data into impactful business insights that will support the decision-making and strategies in business areas, fostering positive relationships, understanding their needs and priorities.Your key tasks will be around:Develop data strategy in our company and the inclusion of our data mindset and commitment in business strategies. Synthesizing the needs of key stakeholders into clear roadmaps and execution plans.Engage with executive stakeholders and SMEs to develop the data strategy for business areas that fulfil their needs and support business development and customer experience excellence.Establish clear goals and measurable objectives for data strategy that serve our larger business strategy.Create, evaluate and operationalize data driven transformation plays in our core business or new ecosystems pursuing growth, efficiency or/and innovation objectives.Partner with business functions to assist in understanding client, product and business requirements and articulating needs through the data lifecycle.Act as Program/Project manager in strategic initiatives within the Data Office pipeline.Define and guide «data value management» with an intrapreneurial mindset to leverage data as a strategic asset.Cultivate a broad knowledge of the organization, being able to identify needs and synergies, and promoting a collaborative culture that facilitates evolution of the capacities of using and exploiting the value of the data for the organization.What do we need?Preferred BS/BA in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical/data field.8+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence.Knowledge of Financial Services, ideally in Insurance, with a strategy consulting firm or with an industry track record of managing teams or work streams and delivering against tight deadlines demanding environments.Experience managing project in the Data & Analytics arena in financial services.Strong background in strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
