We are looking for a skilled and motivated Process Automation Developer to manage the development of internal automation projects.
In this role, you will work closely with various Finance functions and other departments across the Wärtsilä to identify opportunities for process improvement and develop automated solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of the deliveries, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
Position information : This is a permanent position, and the preferred locations for this role are Helsinki, Turku or Vaasa, Finland, Mumbai, India, Bermeo, Spain or Gdansk, Poland.
We also offer the possibility of hybrid remote work.
Your role and responsibilities As a Process Automation Developer, you will be working as a part of a Financial Data & Analytics Competency Centre team with diverse expertise and in your day-to-day work you will :
Collaborate with various departments to identify opportunities for process improvement, and develop automated solutions to increase efficiency and productivity in Finance functionsDesign and develop software solutions to automate business processes, using low code platforms such as UiPath, Power Apps and BPMN;languages such as .NET and Python Design and implement data & analytics solutions on cloudCreate and maintain development plans, schedules, and timelines for your own work, ensuring that developments are completed according to the deadlineEnsure that DevOps best practices are followed, including coding standards, code reviews, and testingEnsure that automated solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secureWork with our IT organisation to deploy and maintain automated solutions, ensuring that they are integrated with existing systems and infrastructureStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and recommend new approaches to improve our internal automation processesRequirements for the position : 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on process automation and improvementDevelopment experience with UIPath or other Robotics Process Automation toolsGood knowledge of, at minimum, Python or .Net languagesGood knowledge of SQLPro-active, analytical, systematic, and organised way of working with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvementTo be able to succeed in the position we expect you to have :
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and best practicesGood project management skillsGood understanding of Azure cloud services, especially relating to data warehousing and pipelinesUnderstanding of AI / Machine Learning models and how these can be utilised in various business processesExperience in creating and maintaining CI / CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issuesWhy you and us?
