The Mission : Analysis, design and implementation of low power IoT products Responsibilities: Write the specifications of the product together with product managers and colleagues Work with colleagues to design new systems, circuits and devices or develop existing technology Test theoretical designs Systematically improve the detailed design of a piece of electronic equipment Ensure that a product will work with devices developed by others, can be made again reliably, and will perform consistently in specified operating environments; Collaborate with the team to carry out project planning and prepare budgets Collaborate with technicians, craftspeople and other colleagues Understand Worldsensing products to be able to define the engineering specs Support and troubleshooting coming from operations department Requirements: Must Have: 2 years of experience in electronic design Deep knowledge on electronics engineering Knowledge of CAD tools like Altium Hands on experience in designing and development of electronics for market Experience on designing for the desired cost Experience in developing firmware Knowledge of at least one scripting language Willing to do analysis design and implementation Be skilled using GNU Linux and network programming (sockets, protocols, servers, …) Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities to resolve tech situations Experience on collaborating with production teams to meet production numbers and deadlines Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Ability to collaborate with external engineers or companies directly Oral and writing english Oral and writing spanish Nice to have: Experience on low power designs Experience with RTOS Experience on electronics for communications Have interest in the Maker movement Experience and understanding on certification and other regulation process Experience and understanding on aging testing Experience on mechanical integration and tests Experience on design of fixture for test at manufacturing plant Competencies: Excellent communication skills at all levels.
