Together we help our customers and their patients to fulfill the dream of having a baby.We are seeking a Diagnosis Specialist to join Igenomix, part of Vitrolife group.What are you accountable for achieving?Thetesting personnel are responsible for test performance and for reporting test resultsEach individual performs only those high complexity tests that are authorized by thelaboratory director or general supervisor and require a degree of skill commensurate withthe individual's education, training or experience, and technical abilitiesEach individual performing high complexity testing must:•Follow the laboratory's procedures for test analyses, reviewing and maintaining recordsof patient test results•Be capable of identifying problems that may adversely affect test performance orreporting of test results and either must correct the problems or immediately notifythe general supervisor, or laboratory director•Document all non conformities and corrective actions taken when test systems deviatefrom the laboratory's established performance specifications•Communicate professionally with clients in providing and retrieving necessaryinformation required for testing (when required/needed) Guidance and client assistancewith the tests offered, test ordering, and pre and post analytical steps•Witnessing the analytical and post analytical procedure (when required/needed) andensure proper documentation (such as reports) is in place•Be capable of working on weekends and graveyard hours depending on the workload andspecific circumstances•Be organized and responsible to ensure all laboratory testing is conducted in a safeand efficient manner•Records keeping and quality control•Participation in Validation of new tests or test upgrades•Conducting molecular analysis techniques and interpretation of results using differentplatformsWhat will you need as a successful Diagnosis Specialist?• Possess a current license issued by the Country/State inwhich the laboratory is located if such licensing is required•Have earned a doctoral, master's, or bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical,biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accreditedinstitution and•Have education and training equivalent to that specified before by having at least 3months documented laboratory training in each specialty in which the individualperforms high complexity testingVitrolife Group is a global provider of medical devices and genetic services.
