.This is what you will do :Do you have an intrapreneurial mindset, insatiable curiosity about emerging technology, and a desire to uplift those around you with knowledge and opportunity?We are looking for a strong, strategic leader who can craft and deliver compelling messages around the future of technology to identify use cases, shepherd proofs-of-concept, and build communities of practice.You will be responsible for :Network and engage with the technology industry, conferences, experts, etc. to select emerging technologies relevant to the Alexion Rare Disease business for incubationInform leadership and stakeholders of new and emerging technologies, and industry disruptors, and work collaboratively to design mitigation strategies.Promote an environment of forward and progressive thinking through a change management process, as well as ingenuity activities.Partner with Alexion IT business partners and subject matter experts to identify business problems that can be solved / enabled by selected emerging technologiesBuild and curate communities of practice around selected emerging technologies to upskill IT Business partners and other Alexion team members and support embedding of emerging technologies within functionsIdentify and maintain a portfolio of innovation opportunities (in support of business initiatives and strategy) through continuously analyzing emerging market trends, market disruptions, and internally generated ideas.Identify and manage internal and external technical partners to deliver proofs-of-concepts and or production-level toolsDefine and apply a standard methodology for the hand-off of all projects for effective and efficient implementation.Support execution activities by providing governance oversight and leadership reporting together with ensuring benefits / value realization reporting.Establish OKRs that measure the effectiveness of the Company's innovation programs and implement lessons learned.Work with the leadership team to develop and foster a culture of innovation at the Company.Essential QualificationsPassion for emerging technology knowledge and considered a thought leadership in the emerging technology spaceIdentifies as a intellectually curious, growth-oriented, organized individual who thrives in environments with high ambiguity and constant changeHighly creative, analytical, and problem-solving oriented, with a genuine desire to build a movement around emerging technologyServant leader mentality with a desire to provide learning and growth opportunities to those around themItellectually agile with the ability to connect disparate ideas together in a cohesive problem or solutionAbility to synthesize new concepts, data, and ideas visualizing potential new uses and solutions based on industry knowledge & customer insights
