Job Description: Petcare Growth Digital Platform team is in search of an experienced Azure DevOps Lead Engineer to oversee the implementation and management of DevOps practices and tools within our GDP Azure environment. This role will require a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of DevOps principles and Azure technologies. This role will operate at a global level and will have to coordinate the Products development teams using the Azure platform.
What are we looking for?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience and strong proficiency as an Azure DevOps lead in a multi products multinational environment.Azure infrastructure and Services: very familiar with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Container Instances, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure services used in DevOps workflows.Excellent problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Leadership and mentoring abilities.Continuous Learning and Improvement.Leadership and Team Management: this role may require to run a 2-3 DevOps engineer team over time.Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.What will be your key responsibilities?DevOps Strategy Development: He/She collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and refine the organization's DevOps strategy, including defining goals, objectives, and metrics for success. He/She also assesses the current state of DevOps practices and identifies areas for improvement.Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Services or Azure DevOps Server. This includes defining build and release processes, automating testing, and deploying applications to Azure environments.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with infrastructure automation using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Azure DevTest Labs. He/She should be able to set up monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and health of Azure resources and applications.Security and Compliance: Understanding of security best practices fir Azure environments, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, encryption, and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC. He/She should ensure that DevOps processes and infrastructure are designed and implemented with security in mind (DevSecOps)Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash for automating tasks and managing Azure resources programmatically.
