The role of the Director of Security Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos, at Costa Palmas is looking for an experienced Director of Security in charge of all the activities of the Security team and Assure the standards are met, guests and employees are satisfied, and problems are promptly resolved. Takes actions that maximize the productivity of the department. 
Essential Functions A passionate individual who will manage and oversee the security department and all that it entails. Someone engaging, energetic, with strong interpersonal skills, strongproblem-solvingability.  Support in emergency situations and accompany guests or team members to local authorities /hospital if required Assist Guest relations with information asked by guests, be proactive in guest contact and show interest in guest concerns. Ensure proper key control is followed at all times and entries are made each time a key is withdrawn or deposited. Monitor the different areas of the hotel on CCTV, noting any suspicious actions. Knowledgeable of all security policies, procedure and set standards. Ensure that a security officer is present when any office is opened or stocks are taken from the stores after office hours. Make security rounds of the guest floors at regular intervals with notes made in security book Assist the local authorities if any VIP arrives or in case of emergency. Perform all duty and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position. Understand and strictly adhere to the rules in the hotel's policy on fire, Hygiene, health and Safety. Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately. Thorough knowledge of various therapies and treatments.Strong delegation, leadership, and operational skills to effectively manage high-volume performance and require previous experience managing high-volume stores or equivalentCapability to ensure the training of the Spa staff to exceed standards. Ability to work with Learning Manager and Designated Trainers to achieve the best possible learning environments for spa staff.Ability to work closely with other departments to maintain quality of all security department.Business partner that can grow the businessProficiency with managing labor, scheduling, etc. Knowledge and Skills Education: College education in Hospitality, Business Administration is preferred
  Experience: Minimum of Three (3) to five (5) plus years of experience as a Security Director or Manager in a luxury resort, preferable with Four Seasons experience Previous experience in employee engagement, employer branding, onboarding. Skills and Abilities: Ability to work with all hotel systems and maintain a high attention to detail.Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in English and Spanish language.
