We are looking for a Global Distributors Digital Services Business Development Manager to join our team to drive software business with our global distributors. Our aim is to create a relation with those distributors around software business. This role is ideal for people who want to be part of the emerging HP business area for the future and drive its growth and development. As the Software Distribution Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of our software distribution programs. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, partnership development, and performance optimization to drive the growth of our software distribution channels. The candidate, who has both strong sales and business management skills, with experience in the software space, would be based in a global organization, responsible for the relation with global distributors. The role includes understanding, driving and achieving / over-achieving sales targets and, the execution of centrally designed initiatives, as well as analyzing market environment and challenges, and consolidating local requests. Scope of the role is HP's Personal Computing and Office Printing Services and Solutions portfolio including Wolf Security, HP Anyware, Pro Insights plus Print software solutions. Responsibilities Expand existing relation with global distributors to the Software Business Units to build joining software business plans. Lead the development and execution of software distribution programs, encompassing digital distribution platforms, licensing models, and deployment strategies. Define program objectives, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of distribution initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to align distribution efforts with product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer insights to inform distribution strategies and identify emerging opportunities for growth. Optimize distribution processes and workflows to streamline the delivery of software products, enhance customer experience, and drive operational efficiency. Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of distribution activities and track progress towards business objectives. Key required experience / attributes Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in software distribution, channel management, or related roles, with a strong understanding of distribution strategies and best practices. Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable distribution plans. 7+ years of software industry experience in partner enablement  Experience in managing channel relationship with MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and MSSPs (Managed Security Service Providers)  Experience of dealing with SW VADs (Value Added Distributors) or Cloud divisions of large IT distributors will be added advantage.  Software and Services industry knowledge with focus on subscription business  Experience developing and delivering training materials with an emphasis on remote training Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross functional and highly matrixed teams  Demonstrated experience with sales, channels & content strategy  Track record of achieving or overperforming key performance indicators  Any certifications in CSP platforms – Azure, AWS or GCP would be added advantage  Knowledge And Skills   Organized and methodical approach to business – ability to translate big ideas into tactical plans  Strong communications, influencing and soft skills, including the ability to present complex issues in a clear and concise manner.  Demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate with peers, business units, partners and customers using a win/win mindset.  Well versed in multi-cultural settings.  Working knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.  Strong understanding of SaaS go to market frameworks and approaches  Familiarity with offering category and HP offerings/strategy.  Strong written/oral communications and analytical skills.  Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build and manage virtual teams.  Ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of the organization and functional disciplines.  Ability to influence and drive consensus.  Thorough knowledge of working with large SWMSP partners and managing product/ service/solution lifecycle.  #J-18808-Ljbffr
