Distribution Safety Manager - Region Europe West (m/f/x) Distribution Safety Manager - Region Europe West (m/f/x)Barcelona, Spain, Schiedam, Netherlands, Lyon, France or Pullach, Germany|req8235What you will enjoy doingMember of theRegional SHEQ Team you will take over the direct responsibilities for TransportSafety activities supporting the development and deployment of transport safetystandards, tools, programs, training and performance analysis in the regionREWYou will ensure that the Region complies with corporate transport safetystandards and policies and ultimately supporting all Business Units improvingand sustaining their performanceYou'llbe the primary focal point for transport safety matters in the region providingconsulting support, expertise and recommendations, contact point for EMEA andGlobal SHEQKey contributor and in some cases, the facilitator of risk assessments, you willhave to lead and / or participate on Distribution Safety reviews to ensureadequate safeguards and recommend additional safeguards as requiredYou'llbe in charge together with are functions to search and looking for technologiesto prevent driving incidents and lead or participate on distribution andvehicle incidents investigation and specially Root Cause Analysis depending onseverity ensuring learnings are shared across the regionDevelop and run regional audit programs and support Business Units onimproving their local programs and technical skillsAlwaysaware of and understand transport safety related regulations, both externallyand internally, in order to recommend optimal solutions to complyWhat makes you greatYou must be able to function independently, applyanalytical judgement and decision making with minimum supervision, you haveexcellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have a demonstratedability to comfortably and diplomatically interact with others in amulti-cultural environment and multi-disciplinary teamsUse independent judgment and discretion inproblem-solving and decision making and excellent organization skills withattention to detail to manage workload in a timely mannerYou have an University degree (Master orequivalent) and you have 8 to 10 years work experience inGas, Petrochemicals or related industries possibly in international companieswith cross boarder responsibilities and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a rolerelated to distribution/ logisticKnowledge and experience on riskanalysis is requiredYou are Fluent in English language (minimum C2),German, French & Spanish language will be considered as a plusWhy you will love working with usAt Linde one of our objectives is to develop best-in-class solutions for our customers.
